missimo

The mobile educational programme enables students in 3rd and 4th grade of primary school to engage with future technologies at an early age. The two-storey truck travels to rural areas, where access to museum-based interactive learning spaces is often limited. Across 100 m² of exhibition space, students gain their first hands-on experience with robotics, sensor technology, bionics, coding and artificial intelligence.

Involving teachers

Through the missimo project, the foundation also provides teachers with easy access to technology. A three-stage teacher training programme equips them with the pedagogical and methodological skills needed to integrate these technologies into digital literacy education. The training sessions take place online and are recognised by the University College of Teacher Education (Pädagogische Hochschule).

missimo in the Classroom

Following their visit to the missimo truck, participating students receive a Workshop:Kit, which allows them to further develop their future skills during regular classes as part of digital literacy education or at home. In addition to clear explanations and step-by-step instructions, the Workshop:Kit includes a BBC micro:bit V2.

Here you’ll find all the information about missimo – from enquiries about the truck to teacher training courses and our workshop kits.
